Aldeplhi Court provides support to adults with mental health needs. Our aim is to support those stepping down from 24hour service/care who may not be able to or be at risk by living out in the community alone initially.
We aim to rehabilitate and enable each individual to eventually be able to feel confident to live in their own accommodation once again. We achieve this by ensuring that each resident has a person centred care plan detailing their requirements and the amount of support needed.
How we help
Aldelphi Court is made up of 11 flats and an office. Each flat comprises a bedroom, living room, kitchen, bathroom and small storage room.
The support we offer varies and is personalised to each individual. We can offer whatever is required of us within the new frame work.
Who we can help
We can provide support for adults with mental health problems.
Referrals should come from adult social care via the community mental health team at Duddon House. The funding panel meet regularly and as the packages are now individualised these need to be accepted and agreed upon before an official placement can be offered. A thorough assessment must be completed prior to admission and we develop a full support plan with the individual.
At the heart of everything we do lies:
- Hope: the belief that recovery is possible for every individual
- Respect: valuing differences and all contributions
- Enabling: giving people encouragement and support to achieve their goals
- Inclusion: the belief that everyone has a right to participate fully in society.
