We provide tenancy related supported housing within the Bury area. We provide emotional and practical support, offering fully furnished accommodation in partnership with other housing associations.
How we help
Every individual is allocated a support worker who helps them work towards goals with the aim of becoming more independent within the community and sustaining their tenancy.
When individuals are ready to move on to more independent living, we provide support to achieve this and attain a general needs tenancy.
We work with individuals on a one to one basis to assess their mental health and housing needs and then offer appropriate support based on this.
We actively involve tenants in the running of our supported housing scheme.
We also offer a personal assistant service to those in receipt of Individual Budgets/Direct Payments.
Our team of support workers are available Monday-Friday and we also operate an out-of-hours emergency support system.
Who we can help
Our service is for people over the age of 18, who have a diagnosed mental health problem and who want to work towards recovery.
All applications should be made via the central access point based at the Town Hall on 0161 253 5940. This should be accompanied by a copy of an up-to-date risk assessment from the community mental health trust.
We’ll then hold a meeting with the individual and their care co-ordinator/referring agency to discuss their options with us.
