Who we are

Richmond Fellowship’s Windsor House (Ansdell) residential service works with you to recognise when you are becoming unwell and help you take preventative measures to avoid relapse. We work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to provide one-to-one bespoke support for you.

What we do

Our service offers 11 beds to people experiencing mental ill health.

Every resident has a mental health individual rehabilitation intervention plans, such as social anxiety, anxiety, financial, learning disabilities support, positive self image, dietary, healthy eating, medication, sleep hygiene, DBT facilitating self help, anger management, building resilience, life skills, solution based therapy stress management.

We also provide support with grieve and bereavement, boundaries and healthy relationship, relapse prevention, diabetes management weight management, physical health checks, pain management behavioural management, hearing voices techniques and interventions, crisis management and group workshops.

We offer a range of activities including gardening, cooking, arts and crafts, days out and family and friends.

We operate a key fob system for security, have an emergency on-call system and provide medication management.

Our service consists of 8 24/7 Recovery Workers, a Team Manager and Registered Manager.

Who we help

Individuals must be 18 or over with primary mental health needs.

Potential residents must have a care coordinator/named social worker and under the CPA system.

Individuals must be suitable to live in an environment that is not ligature free.

Getting referred

Referring agents should provide details of risks history and support needs.

Consent form and needs and risk form to be completed by applicant and referrer.

Accommodation visiting or holistic assessment to be completed at an arranged venue.

Windsor Road is a registered care home so is regularly inspected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the independent regulator for health and adult social care in England. In the latest inspection the CQC rated our service as Good.
