Download our supported living leaflet.
We run a supported housing scheme in York with places for up to five individuals.
Our staff are available on site Monday to Friday (not Bank Holidays) with 24 out-of-hours telephone support.
The accommodation comprises furnished bedrooms with hand basin and communal facilities which include two bathrooms, two lounges, fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities.
How we help
Our support workers work with tenants for up to of three years to support their recovery pathway and to develop the skills to move on and manage their own home.
We focus on building a person’s ability to develop skills to successfully manage a tenancy and their mental health using person centred planning. We work closely with other people and agencies to achieve this.
We offer the use of floating support for up to two years after someone has moved on from our scheme.
Who we can help
Referrals should be made via the York Mental Health Accommodation Panel by an individual’s care co-ordinator.
At the heart of everything we do lies:
- Hope: the belief that recovery is possible for every individual
- Respect: valuing differences and all contributions
- Enabling: giving people encouragement and support to achieve their goals
- Inclusion: the belief that everyone has a right to participate fully in society.
